Why we write this magazine<\/h2>

There are many magazines about health.
About training. About nutrition. About self-optimization. <\/p>

This one came about differently.<\/p>

Not at a desk.
But in life.<\/p>

We are a host family<\/h4>

and have been living what we write about here for almost 20 years<\/strong> \u2013 not perfectly, but consistently. <\/p>

Outdoor movement. Curiosity about one’s own body. Respect for nature. <\/p>

And a deep interest in why<\/strong> things work \u2013 not just that<\/strong> they work.<\/p>

In 2008, we attended a seminar with Dr. Ulrich Strunz<\/strong>.
Title: Creativity and Peak Performance<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>

What began there was a radical shift. A new inner connection.
A dialogue between science, nature, and ourselves.<\/p>

For Hermann, this seminar became the starting point of a movement that changed his life. At 42, he started running. Not to prove anything \u2013 but out of curiosity. Shortly after, he ran his first marathon. <\/p>

Then followed trail runs. Long distances. Vertical meters. Silence. Flow. Meditation <\/p>

He ran races like the Swiss Alpine Ultra, the Zermatt Ultra, the Dolomiten Marathon, or the Zugspitz Ultra.
With podium finishes in his age group. And consistently top-ten overall placements. <\/p>

Above all, he literally ran away from his osteoarthritis.<\/strong>
Not with harshness. But with a feeling for his own body. Healthy step by step. <\/p>

At one of these marathons, we met Dr. Matthias Marquardt<\/strong>.
His method of Natural Running<\/em> \u2013 pain-free, economical, in harmony with one’s own anatomy \u2013 immediately convinced us. <\/p>

Ursula came to this seminar for a completely different reason.
She wanted to get her weight problems under control. The daily struggle where even great discipline is not enough. To find a solution for enjoyment without regret and finally reach her desired weight.<\/strong><\/p>

What followed was not a diet. But a change in mindset. <\/p>

Since then, she has maintained her desired weight \u2013 effortlessly, lightly, and with a smile.
Dry skin and chronic sinusitis have disappeared.<\/strong>
Not because symptoms were fought, but because the body finally received what it needed.<\/p>

Knowledge is good. Experience is better. <\/h2>

This magazine is not a textbook.
And not a medical portal.<\/p>

It is a place for ideas and impulses that one can take with them<\/strong>.
For small impulses that have a place in everyday life.
For connections between body, mind, nature, and space.<\/p>

We don’t believe in extreme programs.
We believe in micromoments<\/strong> that make a difference.<\/p>

That can initiate something that lasts and makes you want more, so you can maintain it.<\/p>

Ten minutes of walking.
A conscious breath.
Cold, light, silence \u2013 correctly dosed.<\/p>

Longevity with ease.
Without the pressure to do everything ‘right’ immediately.<\/p>

A journey to happiness instead of a laborious never-ending story.<\/p>

Leading by example – Inspiration<\/h2>

Our children were always allowed to do what everyone else does.
We never wanted to lecture, convince, or proselytize them.<\/p>

We simply led the way.<\/p>

With outdoor movement.
With natural food.
With curiosity instead of prohibitions.<\/p>

Over time, they discovered for themselves what this way of life achieves.
How good clarity feels.
How much energy is connected to everyday life \u2013 where discipline alone is not enough.<\/p>

Today, they carry forward what they experienced at home.<\/p>

Explorer. Optimizer. Performer. <\/h2>

People come to us with different questions.
And with different energy.<\/p>

Some want to discover.
Others to understand.
Still others to push their limits.<\/p>

That’s why we don’t just speak the <\/i>one<\/em> language here,
but several \u2013 depending on the moment and need.<\/p>

Explorer. Optimizer. Performer. <\/strong><\/p>

We often switch between these roles ourselves.<\/p>

This magazine is for all three. And for the moments in between. <\/p>

A magazine from real life<\/h2>

What you read here is not quickly conceived or copied because longevity is a good buzzword. <\/p>

It has grown. Over years. With experience, curiosity, some doubt, many attempts, and some results. <\/p>

We write because we want to share what sustains us. And because we believe that knowledge only becomes valuable when it is understandable<\/strong>, tangible<\/strong>, and free from pressure<\/strong>. <\/p>

If you become curious while reading \u2013 perfect.
If you try something \u2013 even better.
If you simply leave some things aside \u2013 that’s fine too.<\/p>
